About Jan

Jan Nicholson trained as a dental nurse at University College Dental Hospital where she obtained the National Certificate in dental nursing. Following this Jan worked in the prosthetic department of the hospital for 2 years before working in a private practice limited to prosthodontics. Jan has been working at The Denture Clinic for 10 years and brings over 20 years experience to the clinic as our treatment coordinator. Jan is here to explain what will happen at each appointment during your treatment and help you fully understand the treatment options so that you can decide which is the best solution for your situation.  I keep up to date attending courses and reading dental nurses journals.

I am an active member of a local church helping at a toddler group and youth group.  I sing in the music group and regularly lead the infant aged children’s Sunday group.  For relaxation I enjoy attending clubs for creating cards and knitting….but am not good a sorting out the dropped stitches!  I am a volunteer with Scripture Union in a local summer holiday club and also Chair the Wallington Branch of the Women’s World Day of Prayer Committee.
