About Jan

I passed the National Examination for Dental Nurses in 1998 and had worked for several private practices before joining Dr Stewart’s team in 2005.

I have trained on a one to one basis with Dr Stewart for five years and keep up to date with developments in the dental profession by regularly attending courses such as British Dental Association showcases, medical emergencies, radiation safety and cross infection.  In 2008 I attended a training course for ‘Oralift’, often referred to as the “non-surgical facelift” and in 2009 myself and a colleague assisted  Kings College London, in setting up an Impressions Course for Dental Nurses,  this being the first recognized qualification for nurses in the UK.

At The Denture and Implant Clinic I work as the Senior Clinical Nurse predominately taking impressions and training and overseeing the other nurses.  I am also the Clinic Coordinator assisting in the day to day running of the clinics.

In my spare time, I enjoy walking my dog, swimming, photography and travel
